Chee Meng Cafe is located at Argyll Road and they only serve 1 stall Wan Tan Mee. According to the owner, the noodles are handmade fresh each day and they are usually sold out by noon.

This wonton noodle stall has a history of over 40 years and represents the traditional flavors of "Old Penang". White Wantan Mee is the most famous dish.

It wasn’t in the plan to visit. I walked by (to go to another restaurant) it seeing many people queueing there so be curious of what they made so I had a try on the way back to my hotel. Best wonton noodle I’ve ever had.

Used to be one of my favourite "tok tok mee." Uncle is now 78, and his family takes turns helping him. Unfortunately, the taste just isn’t the same if it’s not prepared by Uncle himself.
