Run by a true Thai lady that has been localized for many years, it’s really easy to overlook Min Jiang Coffee Shop when passing by Air Itam Road. This Thai Tomyam noodle is one of the few stalls in the coffee shop that stood out.

Min Jiang Coffee Shop can be easily overlooked when passing by Air Itam Road during the night, as the over grown tree has block at least 50% of the sign board.

Min Jiang is a coffee shop in Ayer Itam Road which is located a few houses away from the Nissan showroom. There are quite a number of stalls there.

If I am not mistaken, they use garoupa meat, coat it in a delicious egg and tapioca flour mix, frying it till it is crispy on the outside like fried chicken . The soup stock is plain and simple.

One of the best authentic tom yam in Penang! Rich, spicy, and full of flavour — a must-visit for tom yam lovers. Spice level is adjustable to your liking! Note: the stall is open from 6.30pm to 10pm (daily except Sunday).

Nice place to get some local dishes the kopitiam style... Lol. Order from the stalls and take a seat by the road... The tomyam is good and also the stir fry noodles DaiLokMee is great!
