The reason Tak Bo Restaurant stays in my mind is its Xiao Long Bao. The steamed Xiao Long Bao come in small aluminium cups, neatly arranged and holding their shape. These are on the larger side, filled with minced pork and broth.

The food here is genuinely delicious, with the standout being the pao and especially the fried dumplings, they were absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight of the meal.

We visited this restaurant quite by accident while walking by and noticing how many people were inside. We decided to give it a try — and it turned out to be a great decision, because we ended up eating there two days in a row!

I was traveling alone from Taiwan to Penang and passed by this restaurant. The interior looked nice, and the Google reviews were good, so I went in and ordered congee with preserved egg and lean pork, and a vegetable dish.

Restaurant in Chinatown in the center of George Town specializing in dumplings. They're delicious. The dumpling soup is very good. Be careful, the spicy wonton soup is very hot! They also have a milder wonton soup.

Gong Xi Fa Cai The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's Chinese New Year and the food was lovely. Very busy restaurant but very fast service! Very happy with dinner 🍽 😋

The Dan Dan noodles were alright. The braised beef noodles had a bit of tough meat. The soup dumplings had a sticky skin and the filling was too mushy.
