coffee was ok but the croissants were excellent. The dough is really well made (felt like home in France). The banana croissant was particularly tasty, crispy outside and with the hot banana melting inside, delicious!

The latte and cappuccino from The Maker were both strong and well-crafted. I also picked up a few of their savoury and sweet pastries to take away, including the mushroom roll, focaccia, ham and cheese pastry, and pain au chocolat.

I stopped into this cafe because it was so hot and I wanted to take a break. I wanted something decaffeinated so I ordered lemongrass tea. It seems like it definitely has some caffeine in it, but I was glad it wasn't too strong.

We actually arrived right when they were about to close, but the owner was so kind and told us we could still sit and enjoy for about 15 minutes. That alone made the place feel extra welcoming.

They took forever to make cappuccino. I mean, it's just a cappuccino, not freakin world barista championship. And when it came, it tastes like nothing. No coffee taste at all. Just brown water.
