Fresh Dim Sum at Yong Pin Restaurant at Kimberly Street, Penang is one of a signature dim sum around the area. They have been operating more than 40 years and this current one is their latest upgraded outlet.

Visited at 12 PM on Sunday with no wait. The restaurant was clean. The service was attentive and friendly. It was quite warm inside despite the AC and fans, likely due to the extreme heat outside.

This Dimsum place is one of the long standing Dimsum place in Penang…a place that local Penangnite go to for the freshly handmade dimsum. It still taste the same and as good as it was 40years ago…

The alternative place to taste dimsum (breakfast) at penang (near kimberly street georgetown). The taste is ok. Alot of variant of dimsum. The atmosphere is nice too. Price still ok for the pocket.
