Update (03/2026): They're one of the most popular Indian street style restaurants in Penang. An institution itself, Nasi Kandar Clear provides cheap and large servings of Nasi Kandar. As someone who is not good with spices, it's okay.

I've been curious about Nasi Kandar for a while. I think it's quite spicy. It's a tomato-based curry and it was delicious, but I felt that the curry sauce could have used a little more depth of flavor.
